The Foster Blast Chiller has a specialized air circulation system that ensures even, quick-freezing. This method of freezing, known as blast chilling, moves the food through the ‘danger zone’ between 8°C and 68°C rapidly. This range of temperatures is where most food borne bacteria multiply most quickly. The exceptional design of this freezer allows you to put in foods up to 90°C, exceeding food safety requirements and then freezes it to 3°C in just over 90 minutes. Coming in a variety of designs the line includes roll-in, cabinet and modular units.

The Foster Blast Chiller offers four large models that can handle 11kg to 70kg with varying door sizes and holds standard combi-oven carts. Smaller units are also available from Foster Freezers; these units hold up to 51kgs. Hosting all the same basic abilities as the larger models, featuring bottom mounted refrigeration to improve stability. Rolling on caster allows the Foster Blast Chiller to be placed anywhere within smaller kitchens, maximizing efficient space usage. These units are also designed for easy cleaning and maintenance.
